Highest quality plastic caps possible

  • The plant has equipment that can produce both short-necked and long-necked bottle caps. Already, this plant is in operation and being used to produce bottle caps in support of the operations of our sister company, Kasapreko Company Limited.
  • The plant consists of two fully automated Sacmi machines (Sacmi 1881 and Sacmi 1810) for production of caps. These are high speed machines, and equipped with an integrated camera control system (stroboscope system, instrument used to make a cyclically moving object appear to be slow-moving, or stationary).
  • The control system checks all the caps produced (100% control). Caps with any defect are automatically rejected by the control system to ensure zero defect.

A description of our plastic caps production process
  • Our plant comprises two major machines used to produce caps:
    • -SACMI 1810 used for making long-necked caps
    • -SACMI 1881 used for making short-necked caps
  • At present, our plant, which is being operated for Kasapreko Company Limited, has the capacity to produce 450 long-necked caps per minute and 800 short-necked caps per minute.
  • The process used to produce the plastic caps is Injection Molding. It is a manufacturing process for producing parts by injecting materials (resin + master batch) into a mold.
  • Materials (resin + master batch) for the part are fed into a heated barrel, mixed, and forced into a mold cavity, where they cool and harden to the configuration of the cavity.

The raw material used, the resin is HDPE (High-density Polyethylene). Usually, we add master batch to have coloured caps.

  • High-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polyethylene high-density (PEHD) is a polyethylene thermoplastic made from petroleum.

Key attributes and user benefits of our plastic bottle caps
  • High resistance to pressure (carbonated drinks)
  • Zero defect (100% control)
  • High impact resistance
  • Good quality caps
  • No leakage
  • Inviolability of the caps when the bottle is closed (Security band cannot be resealed when the bottle is opened)
  • Our caps have traceability (a crown is embossed inside the caps)

Similarly, we will design and produce our plastic caps being aware of its important role of keeping the contents of a sealed bottle uncontaminated
